_________________________________________________

Work at a new museum with other teens from throughout New York City!
Learn about Himalayan Art, and get paid to lead tours at RMA!
Find out what goes on behind the scenes at a museum!
And much much more!

All you need is an open mind.

What is RMA Teens?
A year-long intensive program designed for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who are thinking about pursuing careers in the arts. Students meet weekly with RMA educators and other museum professionals to explore facets of the museum world through curator-led lectures, tours, museum field trips, group discussions and special projects.

This training prepares students to lead exhibition tours, discussion groups, and workshops at RMA. Using resources within the museum – collection, staff, facility – the program fosters independent thinking and encourages a desire to learn and achieve success.

After completing the training program, participants will receive a stipend of $6.00 for work services completed on an hourly basis in the museum.

RMA Teens meets every Wednesday from 4-6pm from September through June, but applicants can join the program in the spring or fall.
