Hi everyone. My name is Chris Ferraro and I was asked by Karen Kane to be a moderator on this site.

A little bit about me. I was educated at City University of New York, Queens College where I received an undergraduate degree in European history and a Masters with an Asian specialty. After spending two years as a New York City teacher, I am currently teaching at Spring Valley High School in Rockland County, NY.

I teach both Global History as well as Advanced Placement World History.

I would like to welcome all new members and encourage them to post any questions they have on Asian history.
