UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA, FRANKLIN TEACHING FELLOWSHIP IN HISTORY.
One position, field open. Selection will be based on quality of doctoral preparation and potential for excellence in teaching. Appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for two additional years. Academic year salary is $35,384, with benefits and a stipend for travel. Responsibilities include teaching five courses (survey and advanced undergraduate) and participating in a comprehensive program of professional development. Applicants must have PhD at the time of appointment.
