Education About Asia (EAA) is the peer-reviewed teaching journal of the Association for Asian Studies. Our readers include undergraduate instructors as well as high school and middle school teachers. Our articles are intended to provide educators, who are often not specialists, with basic understanding of Asia-related content. Manuscripts submitted for consideration are evaluated by qualified referees.

I am seeking reviewers who have read the following books and are interested in publishing either a short review (350 to 500 words) or a book essay (750 to 1,000 words) about either book and its applicability as a resource for high school or introductory-university survey instructors in world history, world religions, or world literature courses. If you are interested in writing a review of either of these books, please contact me by email.

Jeffrey L. Richey, ed., Teaching Confucianism (New York: Oxford University Press, 2008)

Gary D. DeAngelis and Warren G. Frisina, eds., Teaching the Daode Jing (New York: Oxford University Press, 2008)

Prospective reviewers should directly communicate with me by email.
Cordially,
Lucien Ellington
