The annual conference of VCAS is Sat 7 Feb at W&L in Lexington, VA with an afternoon keynote on North Korea / Northeast Asia security featuring senior South Korean and Japanese diplomats. The morning will have in parallel a hands-on training session on Japanese- and Chinese-language research tools, run by two librarians from Duke, and a talk / tour of the renowned Chinese Export Porcelein collection at W&L's Reeves Center.
