Perspectives on East Asia for Teachers: Modern China

PRE- AND IN-SERVICE EDUCATORS, you are invited to join the UW East Asia Resource Center this summer in Seattle for a 4-week course at the University of Washington that will give you an outstanding grounding in China studies and curricular strategies for bringing China into your classroom. Designed to fuel your interest in China, fill in gaps in your knowledge, and help you enliven your China curriculum, this is a seminar-style course that will provide you with the opportunity to work with Asia specialists and master teachers in a small-group setting. Past participants rated the previous Perspectives course as one of the best professional development experiences of their careers!

* $250 course fee includes 60 clock hours or 6 credits
