Team taught by Asian specialists from around the country, the session topics and course schedules are designed to provide new resources and insights for teachers of both AP and pre-AP courses in World History, as well those teaching courses in World Cultures and World Geography. 

Learn more about East Asia – 
CHINA, JAPAN, KOREA and VIETNAM – the most dynamic region of the world in 2010-11.
These courses are offered collaboratively by the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia (NCTA) sites in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.



FREE to full-time teachers K-12 level
• Earn 1.5 for each course
• Manage assignments and class work in your own time each week
• "Talk" to other teachers and guest specialists from the comfort of your home
• Acquire new class material, inquiry-based lessons, and teaching strategies
• Become eligible to apply for subsidized study tours to East Asia (Teachers who successfully complete three on-line courses, one of which covers all of East Asia, will be eligible to apply for a NCTA study tour. *To qualify for study tours on this basis, however, teachers must also be teaching in the states of NY, NJ, NC, SC, GA, FL, AR, TN, MS, TX, KS, or OK.)

** Only full-time teachers at the K-12 level are eligible to participate in the courses.
