One of the first web guides to educational films on Asia was compiled at Berea College and UCLA. It can be viewed at:

Films are categorized by topic and by the country or region they focus on. The annotations include descriptions and some evaluations. Information on length, format, cost, and sources is also provided.

More recently, the Asian Educational Media Services at the University of Illinois has developed a large database of resources. It also has created a few teaching guides to accompany specific films.
