Greetings,

For those without access to the Joseph Needham collection, a streamlined 1000 book bibliography on Chinese History and Culture is the core foundation for "China's Who's Who", a compendium of 5000 leading figures over the last 4000 years in China. It is available to all basic members of EasternStudiesDatabase.com
It was initially meant for premium members, but until August 1, 2004 we are offering it for those who subscribe to basic membership ($19.95). In addition to the e-book's entries and bibiliography, there are thousands of edited and active links to many areas of Asian research. In addition, prospective teachers of Asian studies can also access 27 course outlines with over 600 lesson plan outlines and 3000 critical questions on Asian Studies. There is much more the site contains (such as downloadable images), but be rest assured you will find one of the internet's best research resources with over 2000 pages at your disposal all in one place. Enjoy the site.
