HOW TO POST IMAGES TO THIS SECTION

To add an image to this section, choose PHOTO ALBUM under the NEW button. A window will pop up. Follow these steps to upload your image.

* Fill in the ALBUM NAME. Give your album a name that points to the discussion or issue the images that you and others will upload into the album can be used to teach.
* Leave the box ALLOW COMMENTS TO YOUR ALBUM checked -- this will allow others to add comments to your album.
* In the ALBUM INTRO section, please elaborate on the appropriate questions or discussion issues relevant to the image or images that will appear in this album.
* Under ALBUM TYPE, choose COMMUNITY ALBUM -- this will allow others to add related images to this album.
* Under NOTIFICATIONS, choose how you'd like to be notified when someone adds a comment or image to this album.
* Click NEXT. The UPLOAD page will appear.

* To upload an image, click BROWSE, and choose the image you want to upload from your computer's hard drive.
* Click NEXT, and wait for the message "1 files have been uploaded successfully."
* If you have another image that pertains to this particular discussion, click UPLOAD MORE to add it. If you have another image to upload but it applies to a different discussion, then click NEXT to continue with this photo album and save the other image for another photo album. The ORGANIZE page will appear.

* Give your image a specific title. When possible, please include the source or other appropriate credit.
* Use the CAPTION section to elaborate further (if you'd like to) on how this image can be used in the classroom.
* Click NEXT. The PREVIEW page will appear.
* Click POST to finish posting your album.

HOW TO ADD IMAGES & COMMENTS TO AN EXISTING PHOTO ALBUM

* A PHOTO ALBUM has three views: Gallery, Slideshow, and Comments. Toggle between views by choosing an option at the bottom-left or top-right. To add a new image to an album, you must be in the GALLERY view. To add a comment to an album, you must be in the COMMENTS view.

* The GALLERY view shows all the images in the album with title and caption. This is the default view for all photo albums. The ALBUM INTRODUCTION also appears at the top of this view, but comments are not shown. To see comments, click on COMMENTS at the bottom-left or top-right. To add an image to the album, click on the + icon at the bottom-right.

* Clicking on any image in the gallery will bring up the SLIDESHOW, which can also be chosen by clicking on SLIDESHOW at the bottom-left or top-right.

* To add a comment or response to an album, click COMMENTS and then the yellow ARROW at the bottom-right. A window pops up. Type in your comment and click POST NOW. The photo album will revert back to the GALLERY view, and you will have to click COMMENTS again to see your comment.
