My old standby favorite introductory video on Chinese civilization has self-destructed and doesn't seem to be available any more. (I have been using the China film from the Michael Wood series "Legacy" titled China: The Mandate of Heaven.

Does anyone have a new favorite one-hour film that introduces large overview concepts in Chinese culture and history?

I've successfully used "Remembering" from The Heart of the Dragon series. Since the series was done in the mid-80's, it's obviously not good for recent developments. But it's a great overview of Chinese history, including Mao and the Qin Emperor and the Tang Dynasty.....
