2008 Symposium on Asia in the Curriculum September 26-28, 2008 At the UNC FedEx Global Education Center CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS Please submit a one-page proposal for presentation/demonstration prior to or by June 10th, 2008. We will only accept digital proposals emailed as attachment or on a disk. Paper copies will not be accepted. (Doing our part to reduce USA carbon footprint). Symposium website will be announced at: global.unc.edu Please email your proposal to leja@email.unc.edu before July 19thth and include your digital CV. Symposium Topics related but not limited to • Multimedia and web-based Asia related course design for teachers and students • On-line course delivery methods and cost structures • Issues on interactive multimedia instructional materials for Chinese, Japanese language teaching • Distance learning programs and curriculum design • Digital learning scenarios that may have benefits over a more traditional curriculum.
