The group, Educators for Teaching India, have organized a conference sponsored by Phillips Academy and The Winsor School, and hosted by the South Asia Initiative at Harvard University. The conference, "Why Teach India: Exploring India's Role in Secondary Curricula" will take place on April 3, 2009 in Cambridge, MA.
The keynote speaker is Tarun Khanna, professor at the Harvard Business School, and worksshop sessions will be offered in multiple disciplines in the areas of content and pedagogy.
